4 - 7 pm - Celestial Myths and Legends at The Rangeley Library
We will be coloring in the myths and legends that fill the skies from various cultures worldwide. At the s am e time, storyteller-in-residence and Children's Librarian Brittany Wetherill weaves tales around the images.
7 pm - Night Sky Trivia! at Sarges Pub
Stop by the Sarges Pub for Night Sky Trivia! Three categories, a bonus round and a $50 cash prize! Te am s up to five. It is sponsored by Sarges Pub and Grub and Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust.
8 pm - Stargazing on Snowshoes at Hatchery Brook Preserve - Register
Step onto RLHT's Hatchery Brook Trail with The Rangeley Hideaway's Maine Guide, Dano Archibee.

Grab a coffee or fill up your plate, and join us for a fireside chat. The breakfast buffet is open from 7 - 11 am and is free for guests of The Rangeley Inn.

Is your equipment up to snuff for the eclipse? We will look at everything from colanders and pinhole c am eras to specialty lenses for your phone and telescope. If you have old eclipse glasses, bring them in to ensure they are in good repair!

5:30 - 7 pm - Artist Reception: Rangeley's Night Sky, astrophotography of Ben Pearson and Nick Leadley at Lakeside Theater
The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will host an Artist Reception celebrating the works of regional photographers Ben Pearson and Nick Leadley at the Lakeside Contemporary Art Gallery, located in the lobby of the RFA Lakeside Theater. Full Concessions, including a beer/wine cash bar, will be available.
7:30 pm - Sound Bathing Under the Stars at Rangeley Adventure Company - Donations Encouraged
Grab your c am p chair and a blanket and head to the Rangeley Adventure Company. Enjoy melodic sounds under the night sky with Emily Spellmire.
8 - 10 pm - Lights Out, Rangeley!
Set a timer to turn off all outdoor lighting and enjoy all the stars! Even try having a lights-free night. This includes all light-producing devices such as TVs and cell phones. Enjoy the dark! Photographer Kyle Haley will be filming the before and after of this event!
8 - 10 pm - Astrophotography Meet-up at Rangeley Lakes Trails Center - Donations Encouraged
Gather your gear and join regional astrophotographers Ben Pearson and Nick Leadley for an informal meet-up to take photos. This is not a workshop, merely an opportunity for photographers to gather in a night sky-friendly space. Participants must have their setup.

4 pm - Birds on Tap! at Parkside and Main
Beer testing with Derek Lovitch of Freeport Wild Bird Supply focuses on birds and the effects of light pollution. Details TBD.

11 am - 5 pm - Happy Eclipse Day at the Library at The Rangeley Library
The Rangeley Public Library is opening for a special scientific event! Looking for something to fill your morning? Stop in and try our hands-on activities. Looking for a knowledgeable, chill place to view the event? We will be out in our back garden, soaking it all in! Spend time on our shelves or at the computer center while you wait. A note of warning- we will send everyone outside and close the doors at around 3:20 pm to encourage every patron to be present for the event. We will reopen shortly after Totality is completed.
10 am - 4 pm - NASA Live Stre am of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse on the BIG screen! at Lakeside Theater
We invite you to join us to view NASA's live stre am of the 2024 total solar eclipse at the RFA Lakeside Theater. While you're here, enjoy our Lobby Art Gallery, Concessions, Restrooms, and Charging Stations. This is a f am ily-friendly event. Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door only. Full Concessions, including beer/wine, will be available.

Grab your c am p chair and join us on the church lawn. Free.
1:30 - 4 PM - Eclipse Viewing at Perh am Stre am Birding Trail
Off-road property. Limited parking, additional field available. Bring food, water, a chair, and appropriate attire. Pack out all belongings—free eclipse glasses for HPA supporters, reserve or purchase via email to [email protected].
2 - 4 pm - Total Solar Eclipse - Find a viewing site below.
2 - 4 pm - Viewing at Rangeley Adventure Company at RAC
Their parking lot will be open for guests to view the eclipse comfortably from the convenience of their chairs. The shop will be available and offering a selection of items to remember this once-in-a-lifetime event.
2 - 5 pm - Toast to Totality at Rangeley Health and Wellness - Register
Watch the total eclipse from the best view in town at Rangeley Health and Wellness while enjoying appetizers, music, and good company.
4:30 PM to 8 pm - Eclipse Party at The Rangeley Tavern
Following the eclipse, join us for an exclusive Eclipse Party in the banquet room, featuring hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, and swing by the Zoot Jumpers. Free for guests of the Rangeley Inn.
