Mad Scientist Monday:

Exciting experiments start our awesome week! Discover density, make malleable matter, clean coins to determine which household ingredient is best, and of course. weather-permitting add Mentos to Diet Coke.       

Tweeting Tuesday

Tuesday, April 11, 10AM-12PM

All about birds! Create a bird house made from recycled materials, pretend to be a hummingbird in a science lesson, and use chalk to sketch local birds on the Museum grounds.

Woodworking Wednesday

Wednesday, April 12,10AM-12PM

"You're gonna need a bigger boat!" Join an expert woodworker from the Museum's boat shop to decorate and construct a model wooden boat to take home.

Green Thumb Thursday

Thursday, April 13, 10AM-12PM

Spring has sprung with a class all about flowers! Listen to a story detailing how flowers grow, paint watercolor flowers, and use recycled materials to make your own greenhouse.

Fishy Friday

Friday, April 14,10AM-12PM

Explore the amazing creatures that live in the sea! Create koi fish wind chimes and egg carton sea animals, Play games to learn about marine animals.

Additional Information:

- Each class is $15 per child, first come first serve basis
- A $10 discount is offered on a FULL WEEK reservation ($65.00 vs. $75.00)
- LIMM Members receive a 10% discount
- Classes begin promptly at 10AM and children MUST be picked up by 12 noon.
- Wear art and weather appropriate clothing
- Pre-registration required, classes fill quickly
