St. Anthony’s Italian Festival 2023
Sponsored by St. Anthony of Padua Parish, and one of the largest Italian-American  cultural events in the nation, the Italian Festival is the primary fundraiser for St. Anthony of Padua Grade School.  We sincerely thank you for your patronage!

Il Mercato
The Italian Festival’s marketplace of artisanal Italian decorative and home goods, as well as authentic Italian food is located in the La Piazza area adjacent to the church.  Don’t miss the one-of-a-kind offerings!

Cultural Activities Tent
A number of activities will be held at the Cultural Activities Tent adjacent to Il Mercato.  These include:

Home Winemakers Competition: The Home Winemakers Competition returns on Sunday, 6/11.  Registration/bottle drop off from 1-2:3oPM, with competition beginning at 3PM, at the tent adjacent to the Il Mercato.  Featuring categories for white wine, red wine, and cordials, all are welcome to participate.  Access the competition entry form here

Sister Cities Wilmington (SCW): On Wedneseay, 6/14, and Thursday, 6/15, visit with representatives of SCW to learn more about Wilmington’s Italian Sister City Olevano Sul Tuscaiano

Italian-American Radio & The Italian-American Herald: Learn more about the region’s Italian-American media outlets on Monday, 6/12, and Sunday, 6/18

St. Anthony’s Feast Day Procession
On Sunday, 6/18, at 12:30PM. join us for traditional Mass honoring out patron saint, St. Anthony of Padua, as well as the  Festa Patronale, the procession of the saints, at 2:00PM.  The procession brings together families and Italian cultural societies with a devotion to particular saints from various regions of Italy.  Be sure to experience this treasured traditional expression of the participants’ Catholic faith and cultural pride.
