LANSING — On Aug 24th, on the heels of the Democratic National Convention, the Michigan Democratic Party held the State Nominating Convention to formally nominate Democratic candidates to the November general election ballot for the State Supreme Court. Board of Education and University Boards. 

With the final results in, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement: 

“I am proud to have heralded the democratic process today with our Michigan Democratic Party family. We are so proud of our slate of candidates up and down the ballot, and we will be with them every step of the way as we fight to defeat MAGA Republican extremists across the state this fall.”
