LANSING - On July 12, 2024, after the tragic passing of longtime Michigan public servant state Representative Tim Sneller, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Lavora Barnes released the following statement:

“Tim Sneller spent decades working to help Michiganders and he truly was a shining example of what all public servants should be. Tim worked for several state lawmakers while substitute teaching middle school history and social studies at the same time before serving in the state House. He worked for his community in so many ways, and we will never forget his dedication to Michigan. With his passing, we have lost another member of our Michigan Democratic Party community, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.”
