Welcome the weekend with a ride up the Steamboat Gondola in the gorgeous autumn afternoon. In Thunderhead Lodge, sip champagne and enjoy craft cocktails and delicious samplings alongside the weekend’s talent. Savor the golden hour of the September Sunset from 9,000 feet.

6:00–9:00pm : Cooking with Fire hosted by Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club - Alpine Mountain Ranch Owners Barn
Colorado native, Chef Matt Vawter gets back to his roots with the Cooking with Fire dinner. Guests will join Chef Matt for a one-of-a-kind dinner at the Alpine Mountain Ranch Owners’ Barn featuring a menu of open-flame prepared, mountain-raised ingredients.

7:30–10:30pm : Trending Toward the Exotic - Primrose
Indulge in an evening of exciting flavors as Steamboat chef Collin Kelley welcomes Denver chef Dana Rodriguez to the open kitchen of Primrose. With overlap in careers and styles, Kelley and Rodriguez are sure to delight with Mexican- and Latin-inspired plates, paired with signature cocktails and wines selected by the ‘guy in the coat’ himself.

A rustic and rooted afternoon at Del’s Triangle 3 Ranch, a wild game hunting ranch in Clark. Enjoy a horseback ride through spectacular wildflower meadows to arrive at the barn for an open-air lunch, hosted by legendary skiing cowboy, Ray Heid. Start with Barolo wine and cocktails featuring Tin Cup Whiskey and then savor an authentic carne asada prepared with wagyu beef by Chef Jon-Claude “JC” Stevens, who has earned top rankings worldwide for his creations, and is now the Chef at Snow Bowl.

A cocktail classification with more history than most people know. Join mixologist Mark Stanford for the ins and outs of tiki cocktail creation, how tiki has inspired other cocktail ideations and what you need to make them at home.
12:30–1:30pm : Wines From The Alps to The Dolomites Seminar - Jace Romick Gallery
The hills of Northern Italy are not a forgiving landscape for winemaking, but that is exactly the price high-altitude winemakers are willing to pay for the bold flavors of their wines. Sommelier Scott Thomas leads this seminar, where guests can taste the difference the added time, expense and effort make in perfecting wine from the Alps to the Dolomites.
1:30–3:00pm : There’s Always Amaro Seminar - Standard Gallery
Though the centerpiece to classic and inventive cocktails alike, the world of aperitif and digestif is a mystery to just about everyone. Join Mixologist Mark Stanford for a seminar on how the right (and more importantly, the wrong) amaro can define the evening. Learn how they elevate a cocktail and when to drink them on their own.
4:00–5:30pm : Old Fashioned: A Style Beyond the Cocktail Seminar - Haus of CuCu
The popular seminar is back! Join Mixologist Mark Stanford as he throws out everything you’ve ever learned about the classic cocktail. He’ll share the methodology of the Old Fashioned as a style for all.
6:00–9:00pm : Traditional Innovation - Marabou Ranch
Award-winning Chef Nicole Brisson of Las Vegas’ Brezza and Bar Zazu collaborates with Chef Joe Campbell of Bésame, Yampa Valley Kitchen and Mambo to create an inspired creation that pairs traditional Latin American influences, seasonal, conscious ingredients and boundless flavors. Set on the “Ranch on the River” at Marabou’s River House Mountain Lodge, this dinner is intimate and quintessential to a Colorado Evening in autumn.

6:30–9:30pm : The Tables That Connect Us hosted by Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club - Alpine Mountain Ranch Owners’ Lodge
Seated in the distinct Alpine Mountain Ranch Owners’ Club, this dinner celebrates how food and drink connect us. This dinner is created by groundbreaking, award-winning chefs in the industry headed by Fruition’s Alex Seidel, for a menu that illustrates the effect food and comfort can have on culture and community.
7:00–10:00pm : Creative Influences - Jace Gallery
Slow Food USA Chef Paul C. Reilly is joined by James Beard Foundation Semifinalist, Chef Jeff Fournier for a dinner for the senses. Placed in Jace Romick Gallery, in the center of iconic downtown Steamboat, the evening’s menu interacts with beautiful works of art and music to illustrate how sensational stimulants enhance the perception of taste.

9:00am–1:00pm : Guided Fishing and Sipping on the Elk River
This event is a unique and exclusive experience for guests, with only four tickets available in total. Guests start their day at the Marabou Ranch Owners Lodge, where you will gear up for an exclusive fly fishing session on a private section of the renowned Elk River. Private guides will instruct on casting and catching trophy trout in the freestone river. Then, return to the Owners Lodge for a wine tasting with Jon Schlegel, the host and founder of Attimo.
11:00am–12:00pm : East Coast v. West Coast Oyster Surf War - Steamboat Square Stage
Which coast has better oysters? Answer the age-old question for yourself with a side-by-side oyster sample from the San Francisco Bay and the Damariscotta River. Of course, to truly find the answer, pair the oysters with rieslings from the Willamette Valley and Finger Lakes region.
12:30–1:30pm : Tequila, Agave & Mezcal 101 - Steamboat Square Stage
Mixologist Mark Stanford leads this crash course on everything Agave. From its rich history and defining culture, whatever you think you know about tequila and its smoky sister, mezcal will be reimagined by the afternoon. Participants in this seminar will receive early check-in to the Grand Tasting
