from 2 – 4 pm
The Brookfield Library Art Gallery presents Water Colours, a photography exhibition by Colin Harrison on view from March 1 to March 31. This exhibition presents exquisite photographs of nature that illustrate how "The Dance of Light and Water" produces a variety of abstract images that are organic and not manipulated. International award winning photographer, Colin Harrison, ensures that the images are as close to reality as possible. He states, “if they seem unreal, it is because we, rejecting the infinite variety of our world, chose, eons ago, to make them so.”
The public is invited to meet Colin Harrison on Saturday, March 25 from 2 – 4 pm in The Brookfield Library Art Gallery. A virtual version of the exhibition will be available on The Brookfield Library’s website, www.brookfieldlibrary.org/art-gallery, starting March 1.
The Brookfield Library Art Gallery is located in the Library's Community Room and is open during the Library’s regular operating hours. Please check-in at the circulation desk before entering the Gallery.
Area artists interested in being considered for future shows in The Brookfield Library Art Gallery are invited to submit samples of their work by emailing The Brookfield Library Art Gallery Committee at [email protected]. The Committee will review all submissions.
