In case you haven’t heard, The Plaza is celebrating 15 years open in 2023

This marks a huge milestone in something that was once just a dream, a thought, a concept.

Whether it's the growing youth education program or the full entertainment lineup that you  enjoy, The Plaza’s 15 years have only been made possible because of you — the patrons,  members and donors.

The Plaza wants to celebrate 15 years with something special — a different kind of event than  our patrons are used to from us.

The Plaza is bringing Eatonton an elevated experience. An experience that patrons will tell their  neighbors, friends and family about.

Just two times this year, The Plaza is inviting the Lake Country behind the curtain.

Behind the Curtain is an event where guests will enjoy an intimate concert followed by  cocktails and mingling then ending with a plated dinner. The evening will start off with a show  in the theater, you will mingle with other guests and then enjoy an exquisite dinner sitting on  the historic Plaza stage.

Paying homage to The Plaza’s first year open, Kazanetti Quartet will be the first Behind the  Curtain show. 15 years ago, this string quartet was The Plaza’s artist in residence. Kazanetti  was paramount in forming the relationship that The Plaza had then and the relationship we  have now with our youth. Garnering the relationship between young people by playing,  teaching and spending one on one time with the kids has always been a huge part of The  Plaza’s mission, even 15 years ago and Kazanetti was essential in forming that bond. The  group performed, taught and visited with the community and this year, 15 years later, they will  do the same.

Kazanetti Quartet is an award-winning group whose mission is to enrich the lives of others  through music. They are the perfect opening act for Behind the Curtain.

The Plaza invites you to remember the past and celebrate the future at Behind the Curtain with  Kazanetti on April 28th.
