You Hurt My Feelings
Starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Tobias Menzies
From acclaimed filmmaker Nicole Holofcener comes a sharply observed comedy about a novelist whose long standing marriage is suddenly upended when she overhears her husband give his honest reaction to her latest book. A film about trust, lies, and the things we say to the people we love most.
New York novelist Beth (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) has been working for years on the follow-up to her somewhat successful memoir, sharing countless drafts with her approving, supportive husband Don (Tobias Menzies). Beth’s world quickly unravels when she overhears Don admit to her brother-in-law, Mark, that actually, he doesn’t like the new book. She vents to her sister Sara that decades of a loving, committed marriage pale in comparison to this immense betrayal. Meanwhile, therapist Don faces his own professional problems as he finds himself unable to care about or even recall his unhappy patients' issues anymore… and they’ve begun to notice.

Yogi Berra!
It Ain't Over
Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra is one of baseball’s greatest. He amassed ten World Series rings, 3 MVP awards and 18 All-Star Game appearances. He caught the only perfect game in World Series history. Yet for many his deserved stature was overshadowed by his simply being himself and being recognized more for his unique personality, TV commercial appearances and unforgettable “Yogi-isms,” initially head-scratching philosophical nuggets that make a lot more sense the more you think about them. In telling the whole story, It Ain’t Over gives Berra his due in following the life of a savvy, commanding, bad-ball hitting catcher with a squat frame but also a D-Day veteran, loving husband and father and, yes, product endorser and originator (mostly) of his own brand of proverbs now ingrained into everyday life. Granddaughter Lindsay Berra tells his story along with his sons, former Yankee teammates, players he managed, writers, broadcasters, and admirers (such as Billy Crystal), plus photos and footage on and off the diamond. Berra famously said, “I’d be pretty dumb if I started being something I’m not,” and It Ain’t Over lovingly makes clear he stayed who he was for the benefit of baseball and everyone else.
Yogi Berra documentary ‘It Ain’t Over’ makes you want to stand up and cheer for this American legend

L’immensita
Starring Penélope Cruz
Clara (Penélope Cruz) and her emotionally distant husband Felice (Vincenzo Amato) relocate to Rome to raise a family. Even though the paint is fresh, and the appliances are new, the crushing expectations around marriage, desire, and gender in the early 1970s remain as traditional as ever. Their children Andrew (played by newcomer Luana Giuliani), Gino, and Diana are likewise poised at a precipice, on the verge of adolescence, with nothing but their imaginations to defuse family tensions. The eldest child, Andrew (nicknamed Adri by his parents), yearns for another life – an outsized, vibrantly-realized vision of a world where he gets to live as the boy he knows himself to be. Without an accepted vocabulary for talking about his transgender identity, Andrew tells adults that he’s an alien from another galaxy and makes a habit of running away to pursue a local Roma girl who accepts his boyhood at face value. As an outsider ostracized for her own eccentricities, Clara instinctively strives to protect her son despite not fully understanding him. An effortlessly moving film about growing up, fitting in, and breaking the mold, L’immensita is as freewheeling and creative as its central characters, mixing genres and staging musical numbers out of thin air.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard in
Chunky Shrapnel + Sleeping Monster
CHUNKY SHRAPNEL is the much-anticipated feature length live music documentary that follows the hugely popular, hyper-prolific Australian band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard on their recent European tour. Literally bringing the audience onto the stage, CHUNKY offers a uniquely immersive experience never before captured on film… a musical road movie dipped in turpentine. King Gizzard has released 20 studio albums in 10 years (including five in 2017 alone), 10 of them charting in the Top 20 in Australia, where they are now arguably the country’s most innovative, important, and productive rock band.
SLEEPING MONSTER (short) was filmed in Melbourne during the first several months of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Australia had one of the most strict lockdowns in the world,” Gizzard frontman Stu Mackenzie says. “We couldn’t really do anything. We couldn’t make music. But there were a few ways to legally get together, one of which was to make a film, so that’s what we did. We spent a lot of that period just filming and documenting everything as we recorded and did other things.” Indeed, Sleeping Monster captures the band members building their new studio (“We’re six skinny, scrawny musos, but we got our hands dirty,” Mackenzie said) and recording the album Changes, work on which began in 2017 but was finally released in October 2022. “It’s definitely part of the Changes world and sits alongside it.”
