Erving is one of eleven towns from the Commonwealth selected to participate in the Making It Public program through a partnership with New England Foundation for the Arts, Metropolitan Area Planning Council, and Forecast Public Art. The program consists of a five week training on how to procure and administer public art, which Abby Baines, Library Director and Mariah Kurtz, Town Planner will attend. Upon completing the training, a $15,000 grant will be awarded to complete a temporary public art project, which the program leaders will assist with.

This program will give Erving staff support and education to offer creative and exciting projects in our community.
