Proposal Divides Landowners, Pet Park Advocates
The Planning and Zoning Commission needs the wisdom of Solomon to decide the issue of a dog park proposed for Westside Road. A packed public hearing Tuesday night elicited nearly two hours of discussion, with 45 letters read into the record before verbal comment started. Read more

Finance Board Wants Education Agreement
The Board of Finance Tuesday night agreed that Chairman Michael Sconyers should write a letter to Botelle Superintendent Mary Beth Iacobelli and Board of Education Chairman Ann DeCerbo requesting that they begin negotiations with Colebrook to establish a cooperative education agreement. Read more

No Ball Teams This Spring
There will be no recreation baseball/softball teams in Norfolk this year because there are neither the numbers nor the resources for teams. Read more
Learn to Curl Sessions Saturday
Two Learn to Curl sessions are planned for Saturday, February 18, the first at noon and the second at 4:00 p.m. In these two-hour clinics, participants receive a brief overview of the game, rules and terminology as well as instruction on delivery and sweeping. Read more
Great Backyard Bird Count Saturday
Expert birder Ayreslea Denny will lead a backyard bird count at City Meadow Sunday, February 18, at 9:00 a.m. as part of the Great Backyard Bird Count. Read more
