Teen Event Series: Tips for Managing Stress and Anxiety

Hello, friends!

We're emailing to share our upcoming event series on tips for managing stress and anxiety for Grades 6-12. This two part series with Dr. Wendy Hurwitz consists of 10 Tips to Manage Stress on Thursday, November 3 from 6-7pm and 12 Tips to Manage Anxiety on Thursday, December 1 from 6-7:30pm. You can attend one or both programs; each contains different tips and information, but they complement each other very well. 10 Tips to Manage Stress (Grades 6-12)

Even though stress happens to all of us, going through stressful times with less stress can be a learned skill. Join us as Dr. Wendy Hurwitz presents techniques to minimize stress and maximize vitality. 12 Tips to Manage Anxiety (Grades 6-12)

Join us to learn about anxiety and what you can do to help prevent it and manage it when it occurs, with Dr. Wendy Hurwitz. Get information, tools, and techniques to help reduce and relieve anxiety and help regain and restore balance and calm. Find out more and register on our website here.

Like all our teen events, these programs are free to attend, open to residents of any town in Grades 6-12, and sponsored by the Friends of the Southbury Public Library.
