Massport has submitted the Draft Environmental Assessment/Final Environmental Impact Report (Draft EA/Final EIR) for the Boston Logan International Airport, Runway 27 End Runway Safety Area Improvements Project for public review in accordance with the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) regulations and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

This document responds to all requirements of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) Certificate issued by the Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) on August 29, 2022, and was prepared  in accordance with the FAA' s NEPA requirements.

An electronic copy of the document is available on the Massachusetts Port Authority ' s website at https://www.massport.com/logan-airport/about-logan/environmental-reports/ and printed copies are available for viewing at the Winthrop Public library.

The public comment period will begin on December 23, 2022, and end on January 23, 2023. Comments must be submitted by close of business on January 23, 2023,  through:
