Veterans Question the Militarization of Society. Maybe You Should Too?
In-Person. Veterans from Connecticut, some of who directly experienced the violence of the Korean and Vietnam wars and their lifetime costs, question our country's military investment in preparing for the next war. Recent violence in the world suggests we should all think about this investment of our tax dollars and the moral cost it may be having on our society. Tuesday, 11/15 at 6:30PM.
The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers
The West Hartford Public Library, in partnership with First Church West Hartford, presents The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers on Tuesday, 11/8 at 2:30 PM in the First Church Auditorium. This program is for families with children of all ages. Registration recommended for notification purposes.
The Kindness Project
Our 6th Annual Kindness Project is back! In the spirit of kindness toward others, the West Hartford Public Library will help those in need by collecting donations to help the community. We are proud to donate to The West Hartford Food Pantry and Fern Street. Drop off at any West Hartford Public Library location between November 14 – December 16, 2022.
