He started the day getting fact-checked by Pennsylvania’s beloved Hersheypark while trying to smear Senator Casey and finished it by confusing Philadelphia, Mississippi with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

• Reporter: PA Senate PA Senate candidate Dave McCormick is facing backlash tonight after posting on X about a shooting in Philadelphia, Mississippi mistaking it for Pennsylvania. The Republican posted a news story from a Mississippi TV station about a reported shooting with a MS-13 gang member saying Senator Bob Casey and Kamala Harris are to blame for the violence in Pennsylvania. Bob Casey’s team responded on X simply saying “This story is from Mississippi not Pennsylvania.” McCormick has since deleted that tweet.
