This is a vibe of cultural connections! Music, cuisine, and damn good wine will always be instrumental to our celebration, but The Cookout is our way of inspiring the community to expand their palate with new flavors and Black-owned brands. R.I.C.E (Rising In Community Everyday)

As vineyards produce signature wines, each culture has a distinct approach to cooking rice. Beyond the dinner table, civilizations in eastern Asia were created and sustained solely by harvesting grain, and today, over half of the world’s population has a rice-dependent diet. In honor of the world’s deeply rooted rice heritage, R.I.C.E. is our weekend day festival, where the wine industry and fellow enthusiasts celebrate our communities’ uniqueness. Through culinary arts and experiences involving diverse rice dishes and wines, R.I.C.E. pays homage to Black culture and the history of the enslaved while highlighting socioeconomic realities and cross-cultural connections.

Don’t leave the festival without indulging in one of our signature exhibitions bringing sparkling wine lovers’ fantasies to life. Our “Bubble Room” Lapin Rouillé Champagne reimagines a traditional tasting as a fully immersive experience. Prepare your senses for an unforgettable installation featuring bubbly wines from around the world.
