ACRES Student Farm is excited to offer a CSA program for the 2010 summer. The farm is offering a limited number of community supported agriculture (CSA) shares. The ACRES (CSA) includes 12 weeks of sustainably grown produce which may be picked up at the farm or delivered weekly. The CSA will run from the week of July 5, 2010 to the week of September 20, 2010.

University of Wyoming ACRES (Agricultural Community Resources for Everyday Sustainability), Student Farm is a student managed agricultural operation that provides quality nutritious food for the local community. The Student Farm additionally provides educational and research opportunities for the Laramie and University of Wyoming communities.

ACRES also manages a composting operation for business in the city of Laramie and the University of Wyoming and it is estimated that 50,000 gallons of compost are being picked up by student and community members annually. The compost is stored and maintained on the farm site, and it used to cover the fields when the compost cycle has reached completion.
