History:

Three generations of growing vegetables has established the Adams family as a tradition in Fayetteville, Georgia, and the surrounding counties. This family tradition began with grandfather, John Adams, and continued with father, Marvin Adams. Both were truck farmers who sold their produce to the wholesale markets. The primary crops in the early days were collards and turnip greens. Son, Russell Adams, entered the business in the mid-seventies and began to diversify the business with other varieties of vegetables still being sold only to wholesalers.

The family farm market had its beginning in 1977 when Marvin and Russell set up a table on the property to sell surplus tomatoes from the garden. Adams Farm has continued to grow and now there is a large and spacious market displaying fruits and vegetables of all kinds most grown on the premises.
