About us:
The first Albina "library" was a deposit station - a small reading room that housed one hundred books in 1906. After spending some years in the building that today houses the Title Wave Used Bookstore, the library relocated twice, ultimately finding its home in a Northeast Portland shopping plaza. Albina was renovated in 1999.
Albina boasts a well-used collection of books as well as audio and visual materials, periodicals and electronic resources in English and Spanish that can be accessed on site or from a home computer. Albina customers have access to Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog of two million books and other library materials.
