About Us:
The American Polish Festival was founded to celebrate Polish heritage and introduce southeastern Michigan residents to talented chefs, artists and musicians from around the area.
The festival offers a diverse mix of local music, art and Polish/American cuisine at a very reasonable cost.
At the start, APCC members, together with the Warren Lions Club, held a “Polish Kitchen” in Heimlich Park each June for several years in the sixties and early seventies. Later, we hosted the APCC Mushroom Festival for several years at our site. With the festival outgrowing the available site, the APCC relocated the festival to Macomb County’s Freedom Hill Park. In 2009, the American Polish Festival came home to the grounds of our club facilities in Sterling Heights.
For over 40 straight years, our membership again is hosting a premier … and largest … three-day American Polish Festival over the weekend of June 21th thru 23th, 2024.
In 2019, we had over 15,000 guests, and we’re looking forward to another great crowd this year. We have spent thousands of hours creating an experience that has something to offer to everyone, in a child-friendly, safe and secure environment.
