Apopka Recreation Department

11 North Forest Avenue

With over 95 years of combined experience, the Recreation Department is dedicated to providing the citizens of Apopka with a variety of wholesome, innovative and environmentally diverse recreational programs, activities and facilities.

Williams Park is proud to host our very own recreational flag football and cheerleading leagues. Whether you are a first time participant or a seasoned veteran, we have got a position for you! From one form of football to another, the Northwest Recreation Complex offers one of the most successful recreational soccer leagues around. Adults, we haven't forgotten about you! The Fields of Fame at the Northwest Recreation Complex are also home to several Amateur Softball Association-sanctioned softball leagues as well as our newest adult kickball and flag football leagues. Off of the fields and into the studio, the Apopka Dance Program, located at the Fran Carlton Center, presents instruction in tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, Pointe, acrobatics, technique, and cheer and tumble for children ages 3 to 18. In addition, the Fran Carlton Center offers our senior adults a variety of mid-morning activities and local day trips. These opportunities are for members only, so why not join today?

The City of Apopka truly is "Where the Fun Begins," and we look forward to meeting you and your family.
