The Artisan Center along the crooked road” opened its doors on November 15, 2010 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Owned and operated by James and Mary Wray, the center was created in an effort to provide local and regional artisans and authors a place to display and sell their work. The newly restored 3400 square foot building is located and showcased on the ‘Round the Mountain Artisan Trail, Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network and is also located on The Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. The gallery is filled with beautiful and uniquely crafted pieces of art as well as interesting writings. We strive to provide an enjoyable atmosphere, friendly service and some of the most unique gifts and books that a person would be happy to take home as a reminder of their visit to Franklin County Virginia!
