About Us:

Savannah’s A-Town Get Down, named for highly creative artist and musician Alex Townsend (above), is a hands-on art and music festival where accomplished artists perform for aspiring ones, and aspiring ones perform for accomplished ones. The result is mutual inspiration, greater self-esteem and greater confidence for our youth.

Additionally, through creative outreach in underserved communities, we provide opportunity for the young and underprivileged to see their work admired as an important part of a public event-the annual A-Town Get Down Art and Music Festival every February.
