In 1996, Conductor and Music Director Stewart Kershaw assembled a talented group of regional musicians to form a symphony orchestra. The fully professional Auburn Symphony has become one of the most acclaimed orchestras in the Pacific Northwest. Each year, the orchestra performs three symphony programs and three chamber ensemble concerts for classical music lovers from throughout King and Pierce Counties and beyond.

The Symphony has musicians and ensembles available to perform for schools and community groups. You can see a list of available educational outreach programs by clicking the tab "schools/community".

The orchestra performs at the Auburn Performing Arts Center in downtown Auburn. Parking and pre-concert lectures with Conductor Kershaw are free.

Chamber concerts take place at the intimate St Matthew's Episcopal Church in Auburn.
