Our mission is to provide a safe family friendly environment to help prepare our kids to learn teamwork, individual self-confidence and pride of the rodeo spirit.  We assure our kids a drug free zone and support the needs of our youth in and out of the arena.  The "Rodeo Arena" not only tests the livestock, it also teaches the children about hard work, how to care for the stock, safety for themselves and other competitors.

Our sponsors assist us in providing safety equipment for the Mutton Bustin' and Calf Riding events.  The equipment needed is: protective vests, helmets, gloves, bull riding ropes and chaps.  The interest from the children and their parents wanting to join the club has been astounding.  We are maintaining all the equipment in one central area so that all the kids have the necessary safety equipment to achieve their goals.  This equipment is also used in during events such as Celebrate Bandera Pro Bull Riding on Sunday September 6^th, 2009.  Bandera Young Guns were asked to do an exhibition on Mutton Bustin' for the performance.  

Our goal in 2010 is to keep records of all the kid's scores and to award belt buckles to the high scores and most improved.  The kids are also able to win buckles through the various rodeo series that they participate in.
