The organization was founded on September 19, 1973 by William Grimmer. Since that time the 12 original members have watched the membership grown to nearly 130 singers. The chorus draws singers from all over southeast Michigan.

The group also plays a role in the various communities we serve. Our annual scholarship program encourages the growth of younger performers.
In addition, we financially support the work of other non-profit and local school organizations .
