Welcome to Belton ISD

Belton ISD’s mission is to provide an education that challenges every student to excel. Located in Bell County, the district’s boundaries encompass 198.6 square miles. Our Community

Belton is located in Bell County in the heart of Central Texas, just 60 miles north of Austin and 40 miles south of Waco on I-35. The district's boundaries encompass 198.6 square miles including Belton, Morgan's Point Resort and a portion of Temple. Belton's close-knit community provides support for the school district and our students. The District maintains an Adopt-A-School partnership with Fort Hood military base whereby designated units for each campus assist with tutoring and events. The Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation is supported by Belton ISD staff and community donations to provide scholarships for graduating seniors and grants to teachers for classroom enrichment.
