Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT)
The FCAT measures student performance in writing, reading, and mathematics and assesses the skills determined by the Sunshine State Standards.

School Safety
At Benito, we make the safety of our students a priority. All school visitors must sign-in at the Main Office to obtain a visitor's badge. Teacher and administrative supervision before and after school and between classes is a priority. Peer Mediation and Conflict Resolution are offered for students at Benito and several students participate in the "Jaguar Patrol," our Student Crime Watch Program.

School Advisory Council (SAC)
The School Advisory Committee (SAC) is comprised of parents, community members, and school faculty and staff. The SAC committee serves to assist in the preparation and implementation of the School Improvement Plan (SIP) as required by the State of Florida's accountability legislation.
