Mission Statement:
The mission of Bennett School District 29J is to provide a safe environment for a quality education with high expectations for success, ensuring students obtain the necessary skills to achieve their full potential and to thin critically as responsible citizens in a complex, diverse, and ever-changing world.
The District covers an area of 289.5 square miles of rolling country side, extending 25 miles north to south along the eastern edge of the Denver Metropolitan area. From this territory, approximately 1,000 students are enrolled in grades PK-12. All schools are located in the Town of Bennett.
The Bennett School District serves the central portions of Adams and Arapahoe Counties of Colorado. Bennett and Watkins are the main communities within the District. With Interstate 70 traversing the center of the District from east to west, much of the adult population works in the Denver area. Nestled on the eastern fringe of the Denver Metropolitan area, the District enjoys the pleasure and tranquility of rural living close to an urban setting.
