ig River Film Festival is a non-profit organization. At Big River, we seek to promote independent film makers from across the globe. We share the vision of diversity, appreciation, and passion for film making. We seek to distinguish the cultural richness of film and screen writing. We seek out unique, talented film makers from every legitimate category to launch their projects in a global market.
In its 1st year, the Big River Film Festival will offer access to creative voices through film programming, master classes, live performances and conversations with the most compelling independent artists working today. The Festival is a chance to discover new voices, experience the art of filmmaking, as well as to explore TV, web series and alternative media. The primary mission of Big River Film Festival is to introduce productions, professionals, and film students to the state of Georgia and all that we offer.
The Festival's signature programs include the Filmmaker In-The-Know, Coffee Talks, Master Classes, Screenings, Awards and more. The Festival will premiere features and short films created by rising independent filmmakers across the globe. The Festival will host a number of juried cash awards, as well as audience awards.
