About Us:
We are a small public library situated in the Tioga River Valley of North Central Pennsylvania. Our library is a great place to open your mind to the world through reading and the Internet.
The library, which was defunct during World War II, was reformed in 1946 under the name Blossburg Memorial Library as a way to honor those who served in any way during that time. It has continued as a way to honor those
living and deceased within the family of the community.
The library is a safe and fun place for children to spend time. The library features a a play space with lots of toys to spark young imaginations as well as children's books. Children under 10 must be accompanied by and adult, but children over 10 are welcome to come after school and explore our offerings.
The Blossburg Memorial Library is a small rural library located in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. The library has a collection of over 14,000 books, audio books, DVDs, videos, magazines, and newspapers. There are five public access computers with DSL for patron use. In addition, the library offers free WiFi and for a small fee copying, faxing and laminating. BML is a member of Access PA, the union catalog for the state, which provides interlibrary loans to its members throughout the state. The library is also a member of the Potter-Tioga Library System. The system provides a rotating collection of large print and audio books. They also provides the books for BML's book club. The library is part of the North Central Library District. NCLD provides libraries throughout a four county region with a rotating collection of new release DVDs. NCLD also provides the following subscription databases for library websites: Power Library, Heritage Quest, Learning Express Library, Health eLinks, Ask Here PA, and Overdrive downable audio and ebooks.
