We provide our CSA members with a diversified vegetable selection depending on the season. A spring selection of vegetable would include, lots of greens, scallions, carrots, broccoli, green garlic, peas, beets, radish, turnips or herbs. A summer selection includes more warm season vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, melons, cucumbers, squash, beans, basil, edamame, corn and potatoes. Fall pickup would include a choice of more greens, cabbage, cauliflower, garlic, winter squash, onions, leeks and more root crops. We also offer eggs and goat milk products from out own animals a la carte.
Our beautiful farm rests at 6700 feet at the base Buckhorn Mountain in Montrose, Colorado. Although we are not certified organic, we go above and beyond the organic standards. We specialize in growing an assortment of heirloom and open pollinated vegetable varieties that are richer in nutrients and flavor then "standard" varieties. We focus on creating and maintaining healthy soil, using beneficial insects and companion planting to maximize production instead of using chemicals. On the farm we have a 51 foot growing dome and three high tunnels that allows us to grow food all year. In the summer you can find us at the Montrose and Telluride Farmer's Market and at the farm distributing food to our CSA members. We also offer goat milk products and eggs from our healthy non-gmo fed chickens.
