The Campbell County Historical and Genealogical society is a non-profit organization formed in 1990 and dedicated to preserve, protect and promote history and genealogy in Campbell County, Kentucky. We meet once a month with local members receiving a phone call about the topic and location before that month's meeting. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month and include a featured speaker on a topic of local interest. Visitors are always welcome!
We also maintain a research office on the second floor of the historic Alexandria Courthouse. A few of our ongoing projects are: genealogy, cemetery location, collection of veterans information, and writing and reprinting of local history books.
