CaptainCooperSchool, a K-5 school nestled in the
SantaLuciaMountains of Big
Sur, is located 26 miles south of Carmel on California State Route One.
Surrounded by mountains, the school sits some 500 feet above the entrance to the
Big SurValley. Our site is also
home to the Apple Pie Preschool. Together the schools have just under 90
students.
