The Carmel-Kent Chamber of Commerce, are dedicated to promoting the businesses and professional services of central Putnam County. Our members are committed to bring to our community a friendly professionalism to our neighbors and visitors to our area.

The Carmel - Kent Chamber of Commerce is proud of our commitment to our community. Programs such as our scholarships to outstanding high school graduates continuing their education in the field of business. We sponsor Youth Art Month from grades 1 through 12 in the Carmel Schools. We hold an annual Children's Holiday Party for all the children of our
community, sponsor youth sports teams and recreational activities and contribute funding for the 4th of July Fireworks over Lake Carmel.

The chamber also monitors and, when appropriate, participates in governmental proceedings at the local, county, state and federal levels. We sponsor a non-partisan Meet the Candidates Debate prior to all local elections and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on local issues.

We pledge to provide quality products and professional services while maintaining a standard of honesty and integrity to warrant satisfaction, trust and confidence in our chosen profession and to work for the common good of our community by fostering a better understanding of the free enterprise system; promoting a healthy economy and preserving a quality environment.
