The Carnegie Public Library has served the residents of Big Timber and Sweet Grass County, Montana since 1914. It was built with funding from the Andrew Carnegie Corporation as part of Carnegie's philanthropic program to build libraries in communities across the United States.
The Library provides access to books, magazines, audios, videos, e-books, e-readers, online resources and public computer workstations. Various programs and volunteer opportunites are also available.
