District Mission Statement:
The mission of the Caro Community Schools is to provide a quality educational experience for all students.
The Caro Community School District covers over 110 square miles. The school district is a part of the Tuscola Intermediate School District.
The school system has a population of approximately 2,128 students and 83 alternative education students. The district was established as a public K-12 school district in 1867. Five schools comprise the Caro Community Schools: McComb Elementary (K, 1, 2); Schall Elementary School (3, 4, 5); Caro Middle School (6, 7, 8); Caro High School (9, 10, 11, 12); and the Caro Alternative High School.
There are approximately 250 employees working for the district in the areas of administration, instruction, paraprofessionals, secretaries, custodial/maintenance, food service, and transportation.
