The Mission
The mission of Cartecay United Methodist Church is to invite and welcome those who wish to grow in their faith and relationship with God and others, to instruct and nurture them so that they may grow in their love and acceptance of self and others, and to send them forth, collectively and individually, to minister to all who are in need.
The Vision
We envision a church ...
... that includes and accepts all people offering them a place to learn, grow, play, worship, celebrate, witness, and serve.
... with a partnership between laity and clergy who, in the love and light of God, are inwardly secure, outwardly focused, and constantly in ministry.
... that is socially conscious and socially involved as both a partner and a leader in cooperative, ecumenical, and interfaith missions and education in our community.
