About Cedar Hill Church of Christ

To some this is the name of a church and to others a location.  To us it is a family of Christians; a diverse people united by Christ with a rich and long heritage who choose to meet in Cedar Hill.  

Our history begins with gospel meetings dating back to the mid-1800s and our first building around 1890.  Reported as one of the oldest congregations in Dallas County, we remain true to our calling of serving our Lord Jesus Christ in this area.  

From the days of worshiping and serving God in a simple farming community, the Cedar Hill Church of Christ has grown and seeks to be relevant in a growing and changing community.  

We hold true to the Word of a timeless God within the challenges of a changing society.   It is in His Word that we see a picture of heaven where people of all cultures and backgrounds are united through Christ into one body; we believe God's Word calls us to show the same love and unity here in Cedar Hill.
