About Us:

C.A.R.E.southcoast(Center for Animal Rescue and Education) is an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to ending the needless suffering, homelessness and abandonment of pets in the Massachusetts, south coast region. We rely on the generosity of the community to continue our mission to help homeless pets, your tax deductible donation matters.

Sheltering and Re-homing Assistance:

C.A.R.E. Provides temporary sheltering assistance and re-homing services to homeless pets, as part of the adoption program animals may be transferred to other no-kill shelters within our network, placed in foster homes or remain in our shelter until a loving forever home is located.

C.A.R.E. works closely with local animal control agencies as well as other animal welfare organizations and traditional shelters to maximize resources and help the greatest number of homeless pets.

Sponsorship Program:

Our Pet Sponsorship Program allows people to assist in providing care for animals with special needs, this is a wonderful way to make a difference in an animal's life and yours. We invite individuals, families  or organizations to sponsor a special needs per through a monthly or annual donation. Sponsors receive histories,photos and periodic updates of their chosen pet. This is a great gift for an animal lover.
