Central Connecticut Rowing (CCR) is a sweep rowing club based in Middletown, Connecticut.  The mission of CCR is to promote rowing and the growth of the rowing community within Middletown and throughout Connecticut.

We offer rowing programs on the beautiful Connecticut River originating from the Middletown John K. Smith Boathouse. We also offer Rowing Fitness classes BY the river.   The programs are administered through the Middletown Recreation & Community Services Department.  Classes open to ages14 to 99, from novice to experienced, recreational to competitive. Our program currently offers rowing in eight and four person rowing shells. Programs are open to all surrounding towns.
