History :

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford (CCGM) was founded in 1989 by local business people who wanted a stronger and more representative voice of greater Milford's growth and development.

The purpose of the CCGM is to advance the balanced economic development of the greater Milford area by promoting civic, industrial, commercial, educational, agricultural, and social interests of the community. The CCGM also serves as a forum to address contemporary issues facing the greater Milford community. The CCGM serves the business community as a resource information center, referral source, and networking base to facilitate actively promoting Milford as an outstanding location for business growth and relocation. The success of the CCGM depends upon the volunteer work of its Board and members.
