Important dates in the History

December 16, 1974: The venerable Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States authorized and constituted Chatham VFW Post 4763.

January 14, 1981: The VFW National Headquarters authorized the consolidation of Chatham Post 4763 and Springfield Post 2042, to be Chatham VFW Post 4763.

December 20, 1982: With 35 Charter Lifetime Members, Chatham Post 4763 was awarded it's Perpetual Post Charter.
