Church of the Advent, Episcopal, is a historic church in Cynthiana. Our congregation is open, welcome and inclusive. Our theological views range from the more conservative to quite liberal. Many times we agree to disagree regarding our beliefs, however we all believe God is love, and we are called to express that love in the world. Our worship time is 11 a.m. on Sundays following church school and breakfast which begins at 9:45 a.m.

We participate in many out reach projects, one of which is  a community dinner held every month, usually on the last Thursday of the month with the exception of November and December when it is the 3rd Thursday of the month.
