Today, Bovina enjoys life as an incorporated city located in the Panhandle of Texas. Life here is comfortable, where the cost of living is low relative to other cities in our area.

Our goal as a city is to provide our citizens with the best service possible in all aspects, from Police protection, Public Works, and Code Enforcement, to the Administration at City Hall, "We Aim To Please". Our citizens have joined forces with the council to bring a Community Center to those that live here in order to advance quality of life. Bovina has a lot to offer to those looking for a place to "Hang Your Hat "and call Home. 

Population in Bovina is approximately 2000 citizens; however we still enjoy the comforts of larger cities. We are located 20 miles from Clovis, New Mexico; 80 miles from Amarillo, Texas; and 90 miles from Lubbock, Texas. 

Our city is growing rapidly and that growth is matched by the vision we have for our future. Scandia Wind, a local company, has chosen Bovina to advance Wind Energy. 

Education in Bovina is also a high priority to us, our schools, Bovina ISD, are on the cutting edge of technology, providing fully operational computer labs as well as Smart Board technology in the classrooms.
