The quaint City of Mantorville is nestled in the Zumbro River Valley, in east central Dodge County. Its history dates from the early 1850's when Peter and Riley Mantor settled in the area.
The Dodge County Courthouse, located in Mantorville is the oldest working Courthouse in Minnesota. It was constructed with Mantorville limestone as are many of the buildings located in the Historic District. Mantorville is listed in the Registry of National Historic Places. A visit must include the Hubbell House, the Opera House and Riverside Park and many more historic sites.
Although, the City is rich in history, we have a vision for the future. As the region grows, so will Mantorville. It is our goal to maintain our simplicity and heritage and yet to provide the best for our citizens along with the growth of the City's economy. We have a 19th century heritage and a 21st century vision.
Whether you are here for a day visit, a weekend, or permanently, Mantorville offers a high quality of life and is rich with opportunities for growth, enjoyment and development.
