The Thomasville City Council is composed of five (5) members. The members of the Council serve for terms of four (4) years and until their respective successors are elected and qualified. Two (2) members are elected from and by the voters of Council District No. 1, two (2) members are elected from and by the voters of Council District No. 2, and one (1) member is elected from and by the voters of the city at large.
