About Us:
On May 7th the Cody Ringnecks PF Chapter was asked to conduct a pollinator habitat program as part of University of Nebraska Extension’s Annual Ag Day. Over 100 High School students from North Platte High School attended the event where they learned about decreasing pollinator populations and the importance pollinators play in U.S. agriculture. In addition, the students helped plant a 1/2 acre pollinator project on Extension property. Once the site is established, the students will monitor the site to see if it is helping attract pollinators.
This project was made possible by the following partners: Nebraska Environmental Trust, SportDog, University of Nebraska Extension, and Cody Ringnecks Pheasants Forever.
