About Our School :

Cohutta School started out as a school for all grades. It was the first accredited high school in the county. Students interested in going to college wanted to graduate from an accredited school. Many North Georgia area families boarded their children in Cohutta so they could attend high school here. Presently, Cohutta Elementary serves kindergarten through fifth grade. It is proud to offer services such as; Music, PE, EIP, Title 1, Special Education, ESOL, Gifted, and Counseling. Cohutta has just completed a renovation. We are added new fourth and fifth grade classrooms, special service classrooms, a cafeteria, new offices, and a new media center. The existing classrooms were also undergoing.
