Mission Statement
Educate, Enrich, Empower!
Beliefs
Learning is the chief priority of our school.
Due to the belief that all students can learn, students should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning styles.
Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
Daily attendance is imperative for continuous learning.
Each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
Positive relationships and mutual respect among students and staff enhance a student’s self-esteem.
A safe, structured environment promotes student learning. It is the responsibility of the school to empower students with the necessary skills to be a successful citizen after they leave Colbert Elementary.
Teachers, administrators, parents, students, and the community share the responsibility for following through with the schools’ mission.
Our school participates in self-evaluation for improvement in instructional and environmental areas.
